Leadership, Management, Human Resource, and Soft Skill Training
A core service of Persian Consulting is employee training in management, compliance, and soft-skill topics. Since 2000, we have trained approximately 4,000 employees. During 2004, we trained over 800 employees with 30% at the supervisory level and 70% front-line staff. When asked on our evaluation form, 98% of participants reported they would recommend our training to others and on average 90% rated the overall training as very good to excellent.

A performance management program is the organized method of monitoring results of work activities, collecting and evaluating performance to determine achievement of goals, and using performance information to make decisions, allocate resources, and communicate whether objectives are met.

Strategic Planning
The key to strategic planning is to understand the life cycle, culture, and how the organization operates. At Persian Consulting we proceed in an orderly fashion to develop strategic business objectives that will guide the organization.
Our strategic planning sessions include a review or creation of the mission and vision statements and an examination of where the company would like to be over the next three to five years. Additionally, objectives are compiled to outline the responsibilities, time frames, action plans, and desired outcomes.
Employee Policies and Handbooks
Persian Consulting will review an existing handbook or develop a new one that provides your company with a concise communication tool that summarizes the following that are applicable to your organization:

Salary and benefit information
To assist supervisors in the consistent application of employment policies and procedures, some employees choose to provide a procedure manual to its supervisors. Persian Consulting will draft supervisory procedures to provide guidance on practical administration of the policies contained in the employee handbook, as well as any pre-employment or post-employment duties required of the supervisor.
Employee Organizational and Opinion Surveys
With the success of any organization dependent upon its employees, Persian Consulting believes it is important to regularly survey employees to identify the organizational climate. A customized survey is provided to all employees for completion. Once completed the results of the survey are analyzed and a written report of findings is presented to the customer.
We facilitate training with key leaders of the company to review the concept of organizational design and employee performance. The importance of objective measurement is emphasized. We also ask for participation of the management team to document key results, critical issues, critical success factors, and metrics needed to be built into the design of the organization.
Affirmative Action Plans
Persian Consulting prepares Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) that meet affirmative action obligations required by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Our Affirmative Action Plans formalize efforts to provide equal employment opportunities in all employment practices. An AAP is created to reflect OFCCP requirements to include the following four major areas:
1. Implementation responsibilities
2. Statistical analyses to include Workforce Analysis, Job Group Analysis, Availability Analysis, and Utilization Analysis
3. Action-oriented programs designed to correct problem areas
4. Implementation of internal audit and reporting systems used to periodically measure the effectiveness of the total affirmative action program
Persian Consulting will conduct a comprehensive human resource audit to identify and clarify needs in the human resource area and highlight non-compliance issues.
The audit focuses on qualitative benchmarks, which allows us to provide you with targeted recommendations to improve your human resource function and to reduce risk. Overall, the audit develops findings in key functional areas.
